SalaryGVI Inc., a subsidiary of Three Saints Bay, LLC, and a Federal Government Contractor industry leader, is seeking a Shipboard Installer in Mayport, FL.
Position Responsibilities:
- Provide Alteration Installation Team (AIT) industrial support for U.S. Navy Combat Systems integration.
- Perform cable installation, removal, and cableway finalization onboard U.S. Navy Ships
- Perform cable fabrication, termination, and connector building in accordance with drawings and quality specifications
- Follow direction, interpret installation drawings, and work as part of a team
Position Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED equivalent with 0-4 years of relevant experience sufficient to perform maintenance tasks
- Knowledge of U.S. Navy or NAVSEA Combat Systems a plus
- Prior AIT or military experience a plus
- Ability to work in industrial shipyard environment required
- Ability to carry 50lbs up and down ladder wells required
- Proficiency with common ship repair tools of the trade required
- Periods of extensive travel may be required
- Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain secret
