Specialized Recruiting Group Northland & Downtown KC is currently seeking to fill a National Sales Manager position in Kansas City. Desirable candidates are able to work independently and as part of a team, with limited supervision at times, and are highly organized and hard working.

Basic Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Implement strategies to expand the market share with medium to large national accounts.
Create business plans to plan for overall revenue and unit targets, as well as individual product category targets
Participate in the design and execution of the go to market strategy with regular and periodic tracking and reporting
Provide regular and timely observation of pipeline trends with corrective actions and reporting
Manage forecast accuracy and align with Product Management
Manage channel and inventory levels for optimization
Liaise with internal groups to optimize marketing dollars and activities for maximum brand exposure and growth
Manage tasks with support from Inside Sales team
Supports additional projects and accounts as needed
Travel for customer visits and trade shows as needed
Requirements:
Previous sales experience in the automotive aftermarket, retail or fluid power
Previous experience managing a sales team
Minimum 5 years of sales experience working hands on with accounts is required
