D.R. Horton, Inc. is currently looking for a National Operations Manager for their Corporate Office. The right candidate shall be responsible for the effective operation of personnel, equipment and other resources necessary to run both Title Plant and Escrow Office operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
- An ability to perform all tasks of all personnel under his/her supervision.
- Work in conjunction with management in the development of new escrow and title branch operations in existing and new markets. This includes coordinating all vendor management teams when implementing new offices
- To supervise other office personnel in accordance with established company personnel procedures and policies.
- Coordinate the disassembly of existing offices no longer necessary for company operations.
- Work closely with management to coordinate escrow training for all employees within the escrow division. Subject matter is to include (but not limited to) software implementation, policy and procedure training.
- Without limiting any of the foregoing essential duties, to supervise all aspects of the Title Department and Escrow Branch operations on a national basis. This includes: problem resolution, tracking and improving efficiency, operational process systems, resolving compliance and quality assurance issues.
- To establish and maintain relationships which are social, professional, civic or community in nature, which promote the goodwill of the company and develops future business.
- Develop and implement operating procedures with escrow administration and/or other specified departments including central processing.
- Develop and oversee maintenance of Tax and HOA databases containing information for each market DHI operates.
- Meet regularly with IT and DHI Mortgage to implement and execute continuing data share streamlining and process workflow enhancements for the Escrow branch productivity improvements.
- Meet and observe branch personnel. Extrapolate best practices from branch personnel. Survey all title branches and develop database of builder customer tendencies and requirements and assist branch in development of best practice procedures for specific market.
- Develop cross branch production procedures as part of Emergency Operating Procedure or Disaster Recovery Procedure for impaired or affected branch(s).
- Develop, access and oversee the maintenance of reports regarding operational efficiency and procedural management.
- To encourage employee development and professional growth by providing regular and timely feedback, and continually solicit feedback from title branch personnel as a method of continual discovery of best practices.
- Understand and agree to all DHI Title expense policy procedures.
- Work closely with management in creating and implementing branch revenue goals, expense controls, annual branch budgets and strategic plan for branch business development.
- Traveling as required to meet the goals of the job requirements.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Manages 2 or more subordinate supervisors who supervise employees. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these units. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Education and/or Experience
Master's Degree in Business Management or related field. Five (5) to Seven (7) years of escrow transactional/closing, loan closing experience, title examination experience, and Five (5) to Seven (7) years of builder affiliated escrow branch management experience.
