Founded in 1993 and headquartered in McLean, VA, Solv is a small business that supports the mission of government and commercial clients by providing sustainable solutions based on sound engineering, science, economic, and management principles. Solv has an immediate need for a National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) Project Manager or Specialist to provide full-time support for NEPA projects for federal clients in the Washington, DC metropolitan area and other locations nationwide.
Candidates should have 5+ years of experience developing and reviewing NEPA environmental assessments (EAs) and environmental impact statements (EISs); and technical expertise in one or more of the following laws or programs:
- Clean Water Act (CWA);
- Clean Air Act (CAA);
- Endangered Species Act (ESA);
- National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA); or
- Other related laws.
Ideal candidates will have experience integrating interdisciplinary considerations into NEPA documents and analyses and have management experience. Candidates must have a BS in Biology, Ecology, Natural Resources Management, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Urban and Regional Planning (preferably with an environmental concentration), or a related degree. An MS degree is preferred. All candidates must possess outstanding oral and written communications skills.
Candidates must meet federal security clearance requirements and be eligible to obtain a Top-Secret government clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship.
