We are seeking an experienced National Account Manager to join our talented team and manage key strategic partners, specifically Walmart, for the Hunt/Shoot Accessories Division of Revelyst (previously Vista Outdoor).
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Achieve assigned revenue and profit objectives as established by leadership. Help build, develop, and execute the annual sales plans, customer marketing plans, and budgets.
  • Continually monitor and analyze category and item performance to be able to build assortment strategies in preparation for annual Product Reviews as necessary to maximize sales, profits, and market share.
  • Manage the daily and weekly orders and product shipping with the internal cross functional teams.
  • Develop strong internal relationships with various marketing, trade marketing, and product development teams to develop and implement winning strategies and tactics for new product launches.
  • Develop, manage, and execute promotional and advertising programs. Manage spending within provided budgets and build out campaign strategies to maximize ROI and meet/exceed customer expectations.
  • Partner with customer teams to elevate and optimize Bushnell's brands exposure across the customers' Stores and websites to ensure best in class brand messaging and product presentation.
  • Negotiate and manage trade funds to create customer and company value by consistently measuring trade terms and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and implement rolling 12-month customer promotional plan to take advantage of key customer promotional periods that will generate incremental revenue and brand exposure.
  • Collaborate closely with Demand Planning to develop detailed monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasts, by item, for each assigned account while considering product lead times, promotional activity, and customer inventories.
  • Drive service levels and reduce chargebacks by working with internal operations teams and customer supply chain teams to improve service levels and reduce chargebacks.
  • Be the in-house expert and repository of knowledge of all Walmart platform changes, policies, and best practices.
  • Develop and maintain and understanding of market and industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer strategies.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION:
  • Degree minimum: 4-year degree
  • Minimum 5+ years of direct and hands-on experience in sales and/or channel marketing with consumer goods.
  • Minimum of 2+ years of direct experience working with Walmart and Walmart Online with proven results.
  • Experience developing and managing trade/promotional budgets with history of improving spend performance.
  • Proven history of working with Walmart Item 360, Retail Link and Walmart Marketplace platforms.
  • Ability to effectively work with and connect with various internal customers.
  • Highly organized and ability to manage multiple projects at one time.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Superior levels of integrity, autonomy, and self-motivation.
  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.
