Busy, Laid-back family is looking to hire an Experienced, Easygoing Nanny/Housekeeper for their home in West Chester, PA! - Great Benefits!
MUST LOVE ANIMALS!

The Ideal Candidate:This easygoing family is looking for someone who is laid back, calm, and can "roll with it when things get a little hectic." Someone who loves animals and has no pet allergies! Main responsibilities will include helping mom get their 4 kids (ages 4, 8, 8, and 11 years old) out the door for school in the morning, taking care of the housekeeping during the day - including deep cleaning as well as picking up, decluttering, taking care of the laundry, making beds, organizing, and generally making sure the house is clean and tidy, and then helping to pick up the kids and drive them to any activities they have. Additionally, someone who loves to cook is the best fit so you can help prep/cook family dinners. Some errands may need to be run occasionally (dry cleaning, UPS drop off, etc.). They have several pets (4 dogs, and 6 cats) so this person must be comfortable with animals and have no pet allergies. Very minimal pet care duties are involved but the family lives on 6 acres, so you may have to let the dogs out periodically. Also, someone who will work on Saturdays (in exchange for a day off during the week) as the kids have lots of activities and sports, and mom and dad need help "dividing and conquering" to get everyone to their various activities.

What Works Best for Family: Ideally, someone laid back who can roll with changes and has a hard work ethic. Someone self-motivated, who just "gets it" and knows what needs to be done before mom even knows it needs to be done. There will be a learning period but this family is looking for someone who needs little to no direction once they learn how things are done and gets to see how the house runs.They would also love for this person toaccompany them on family vacations to help with the kids. Someone too rigid will not work for this family as there will be times when they need someone who can go with the flow of a busy home. Someone laid back, calm, flexible, friendly, self-motivated, and loves animals will be the best fit and thrive in this role for many years!

Position Responsibilities

• Childcare: 04Children, Ages 4 years (G), two 8-year-olds (B)(not twins), and 11 years (B).
• Housekeeping: Full Housekeeping Required
• Cooking: Help Start/Prep for Dinner, Family Meals
• Laundry: Family Laundry
• Errands: Dry Cleaners; Post Office, Etc.
• Driving: Required
• Travel: Domestic Travel Required

Position Requirements

• Work Hours:Ideally, Tuesday-Saturday, 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM - But flexible with day during the week; Family would like to have someone available to work on Saturdays and would have Sunday plus one other weekday off

• Background: Pass stringent background checks and drug testing upon offer of hire

Position Compensation

• Salary: $35/hr, DOE, Negotiable for the right candidate
