SalaryAbout the Job: A warm Evergreen family seeks a nurturing and reliable Nanny/House Manager for their two lovely girls aged 2 and 5. The girls are in school full time during the normal school season and enjoy outdoor activities, reading, coloring, and playing together. The parents work from home and occasionally travel. The family has two friendly Labrador Retrievers aged 7 and 10.
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8am-4pm (guaranteed 40 hours/week with potential for additional hours during parent travel; monthly date night ~1x/month)
Start: April 15, 2024- (Initial 6-month contract until August 16th, 2024, with the option to extend. Extension discussions at least 8 weeks before the end of the contract.
Job Duties: As a Nanny/House Manager, responsibilities include childcare, safe transportation to and from school/activities, home cleaning, household projects, family laundry, meal preparation, occasional local errands, grocery shopping, and Montessori-aligned developmental activities. Driving for school drop-off and pickup, as well as taking the kids to summer activities, is required.
Ideal Candidate: The family seeks a reliable, safety-conscious individual with a positive approach to working with children. The candidate should value a balance between outdoor/active play, creative exploration, and a Montessori-based routine. An adventurous spirit, minimal screen time philosophy, and proficiency in planning and executing developmentally appropriate activities are essential.
Requirements: Standard vaccinations: T-DAP, Flu Shot, Covid vaccinations & boosters, non-smoker, and a clean driving record
