SALARY
This position has a starting compensation of $36.00 per hour (including license premiums). Candidates with more experience may be eligible for higher rates and premiums. This position also has a seven-year step program.

SUMMARY
This position performs assigned maintenance on Company aircraft, engines, and engine components. All functions are completed with the highest regard for safety and adherence to all applicable policies and regulations. This position, as with all positions, is expected to contribute to a positive and safe work environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform maintenance on engines and aircraft components including but not limited to periodic aircraft service checks, aircraft line maintenance, servicing, and dispatch to include component overhaul, repair, disassembly, and assembly.
- Perform all assigned maintenance duties using Company maintenance manuals, manufacturers’ maintenance manuals, service bulletins, Company policies and procedures, and all applicable Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations.
- Advise the Lead Technician and/or Inspector whenever inspection is required before completion of an assigned task.
- Be willing and comfortable to perform flight technician duties away from the line station if assigned.
- Sign for and be held accountable for all work accomplished.
- Be reliable and maintain regular attendance/punctuality.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- A high school diploma or GED is required; an associate or bachelor’s degree is helpful.
- Must have an FAA A&P License
- Experience with 767-300 aircraft preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
- Pass a pre-employment background check and maintain qualifications following DOT/FAA regulations.
LANGUAGE AND COMMUNICATION SKILLS
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
- Ability to read, write, and understand the English language.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to communicate effectively within the Maintenance Department and with other team members as needed.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Shift work will be required, including dayshift, nightshift, and weekends depending on the flying schedule and airline needs.
- The work is classified as “heavy”.
- Ability to perform the tasks and responsibilities of the position safely and effectively including lifting up to 70 lbs., climbing, reaching, standing, pushing, and pulling up to 100 lbs.
- Exposure to high noise levels, moving aircraft and equipment, dirt, dust, fumes, heat, cold, exposure to hazardous materials, exhaust fumes, working in confined spaces for extended periods, and working outside. Use of personal protective equipment including respirators.
