The Opportunity
As a Music Teacher, you'll be vital, providing academic, emotional, and physical support to students who require extra assistance to thrive in school. You will:
-Conduct frequent and appropriate assessments to tailor instructional plans
-Collaborate with school personnel and families to drive positive outcomes
-Foster an environment of critical thinking and academic rigor
-Utilize the school's behavior support and intervention strategies
-Record and track student growth and progress toward goals
-Participate in the daily functions of the school, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for all
The Qualifications
-A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution of higher learning Required
-A Valid IL PEL with Science Endorsement Required
-A Commitment to Learning and Implementing Feedback
-The ability to adapt and remain flexible in a dynamic educational environment
