Multimedia Instructional Designer

What you will be doing:

Multimedia Development

• Developing engaging multimedia content for eLearning, including instructional videos, presentations, and interactive elements
• Incorporating various media components, such as videos, images, animations, and interactive elements, into learning or presentation materials

Content Writing

• Collaborating with subject matter experts to gather and synthesize technical information into a compelling message that demonstrates an understanding of complex technical subjects and clear approaches to training and business development requirements
• Compiling information from multiple sources and editing the language to ensure a consistent tone and voice
• Working with content writers and SMEs to translate technical material into easily understandable text
• Proofreading and editing content for clarity, grammar, syntax, and consistency

Presentation Development

• Developing visually appealing and impactful presentations, brochures, newsletters, etc. for marketing, business development, social media, and training materials
• Ensuring that presentations align with brand guidelines and effectively communicate key messages

Video Content Creation

• Creating high-quality video content, preferably using tools like Camtasia, to enhance eLearning modules and training materials
• Editing and producing videos for training, marketing, social media, and other promotional purposes

Instructional Design

• Designing and developing instruction-led training (ILT) and eLearning content, covering the full instructional design lifecycle
• Collaborating with subject matter experts and stakeholders to gather and analyze training requirements

Live Training Facilitation

• Facilitate live training sessions, providing engaging and interactive learning experiences for participants
• Adapting training delivery methods based on the needs of the audience, ensuring effective knowledge transfer

What you need to be considered for this role (required)

• Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Multimedia Design, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in instructional design and multimedia development, with experience designing materials for both print and digital platforms
• Prior experience creating, designing, and producing business development and marketing materials, such as presentations, brochures, flyers, and other informational print materials
• Prior experience with copywriting, proofreading, and editing
• Proficiency in multimedia and graphic design software tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva), video editing software (e.g., Camtasia), and presentation software (e.g., PowerPoint or Google Slides)
• Strong understanding of instructional design principles and adult learning theories
• Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable to others in text and diagrams
• Exceptional creativity and a keen eye for visual design
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Experience facilitating live training sessions and workshops
• U.S. Citizenship (dual citizenship ineligible)

What makes you stand out from the crowd (desired)

• Master’s degree in a relevant field
• Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) and eLearning authoring tools
• Experience with creating content in written and/or visual form for proposals
• Experience creating content for web and social media
• Experience with collaboration tools such as Google Workspace and SharePoint
• Certification in instructional design or related areas

Position:Multimedia Instructional Designer
Location: Fully Remote
Base Compensation: We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, and we are open to discussing compensation based on your qualifications and experience
Other Compensation: 4% contribution to 401(k), performance bonus, profit-sharing
