Multimedia And Graphic Designer

The Multimedia Graphic Designer (MGD) visually communicates the company’s mission and vision in print, digital and web design. The MGD is responsible for creating clean and professional designs and illustrations that complement and furthers the Priority OnDemand family of brands.

Graphic design projects include, but are not limited to, collateral (brochures, flyers, reports, etc), advertising, posters, and signage. In particular, the MGD will assist in the visual presentation for the company’s responses to Requests for Proposals. Digital design projects can include promotional webpages, social media, digital advertising, and presentation slides. Illustration will include small scale projects such as icon development and logo design. Candidate will be responsible for updating and maintaining internal databases for designs, photography, and video. Photography and videography skills are also desired.

The ideal candidate is a strong communicator with excellent listening, problem-solving, analytic, and interpersonal skills. This position requires a person who is results oriented, detailed oriented, customer service oriented, and able to work independently as well as within a collaborative environment.

Proficiencies needed in: typography, branding, color theory, composition, illustration, and photography. The MGD will be able to translate written/verbal concepts and ideas into clear and impactful visual design products.

As a small creative team, we utilize all our members’ extended skill sets. Ongoing skills development is encouraged and supported. The following skills are not required but are viewed as desirable.

• Photography: Ability to shoot in a creative and artistically compelling manner is highly desirable.

• Animation: Ability to create motion graphic animations for video, web and digital signage with proficiency in Adobe After Effects and/or Adobe Animate is desirable.

• Videography and Audio: Ability to use a DSLR camera to capture footage for promotional videos, record interviews and B-Roll is beneficial.

• Video Editing: Ability to edit video and audio to create professional short-format videos with proficiency in Adobe Premiere and Adobe Audition is beneficial.

• Experience working as a Graphic Designer and illustrator is required. Applicants should submit an online portfolio to demonstrate their ability. There will be a skills assessment during the recruitment process.

• Three or more years of experience in professional graphic design, preferably with a healthcare field client. Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in graphic design, art, or related discipline.
