Salesforce Inc. seeks MTS Software Engineer in San Francisco, CA:
Job Duties : Develop features such as session filtering and request proxying on Salesforce’s internal selenium UI test infrastructure using Python, Golang and Docker. Using the state-of-the-art CI/CD tools to produce, release and deploy browser images and other dependencies used by the test infrastructure. Ensure the reliability of the service in production, resolve network/security issues using a wide range of unix tools. Configure/debug the Kubernetes clusters and other AWS resources running in multiple environments and resolve pipelining/security/operational challenges that come with the process. Constantly update the service to adapt to the advance of technology and changes in company policies, making sure its performance and security always stays at the top of the industry. Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the sources of issues and the impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality. Participate in, or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to decide amongst available technologies. Use agile methodologies for planning and managing projects. ˆHQ address additionally encompasses the following Salesforce locations in San Francisco: 350 Mission Street, 415 Mission Street, and 50 Fremont Street. The permanent position may be offered at any of these locations in San Francisco. Telecommuting is an option.
Minimum Requirements : Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or closely related quantitative discipline.
A related technical degree required (Computer Science, Engineering).
Special Skill Requirements : (1) CI/CD; (2) Bash; (3) Networks, TCP/TLS, DNS/Certificates; (4) Git; (5) Unix; (6) Microservices, REST, NoSQL, Service Orchestration; (7) AWS; (8) Algorithms and (9) Machine Learning. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option.
