Position Summary:
Our infrastructure and cloud practice is seeking a seasoned Project Engineer with experienced working with Microsoft AD, Server Virtualization, Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.), network design, architecture engineering, and cybersecurity. Strong business acumen along with technical depth is important to assist with architecture, implementation, and migrations for small- and mid-sized businesses.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for the completion of IT engineering projects on-time, pulling in necessary resources
- Work with clients directly to assess their network and design improvements to the architecture
- Implement and update network infrastructure, software, and hardware for new and existing clients
- Create and maintain documentation
- Evaluating new Solutions and/or new Vendors
- Troubleshoot technical issues as they arise
- Resolve high-level help desk support requests as needed
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
- Manage client communication and drive progress for assigned projects
- Provide clients with regular updates on project schedule and action items
- Work closely with Project Management Team on change of scope
- Maintain safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations
IDEAL QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS (OR EQUIVALENT EXPERIENCE)
- 3+ years in IT with MSP experience
- Citrix/RDS or similar desktop/app virtualization
- MCSA/MCSE or Office365/Azure or any relevant Networking certification
- Extensive experience with Microsoft 365
- Extensive experience with Cloud infrastructure
- Extensive experience implementing backup, disaster recovery solution
- Extensive experience with PowerShell scripting
- Extensive experience with Microsoft Active Directory
- Experience with managing SQL servers
- Virtualization (Vmware/Micrososft) experience
- Network Administration Experience
- Understanding of Cybersecurity best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Understands the importance of outstanding customer service
- Effective under pressure
- Able to multitask efficiently
- experience using a PSA and RMM tools
- 4 Year Degree in Computer Sciences
