MRI Technologist

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated MRI Technologist to join our team. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for operating magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) equipment to produce images of patients' internal organs and tissues. You will work closely with physicians and other medical professionals to ensure accurate and high-quality diagnostic images.

Duties:
- Perform MRI scans on patients using specialized equipment
- Position patients correctly and ensure their comfort during the procedure
- Operate MRI scanners to capture images of the designated body parts
- Adjust imaging parameters to obtain optimal image quality
- Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to any adverse reactions or complications
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret and analyze imaging results
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of procedures performed
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in MRI technology and techniques

Skills:
- Proficiency in operating MRI equipment and software
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with healthcare professionals and patients
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, including emergency situations in the ER
- Knowledge of aseptic technique to maintain a sterile environment during procedures

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $2,200.00 - $2,462.00 per week
