Seeking an MRI TECHNOLOGIST for a Full time and Permanent Role at a Large Health System near Kansas City!

Location: Kansas City Metro Area
Salary: $32.82 - $46.63 (mid point) +++ and up depending on years of experience + Shift differentials
Benefits: Comprehensive Benefits Package
Schedule: M-F 1:30pm - 10:30pm
On Call: weekend rotation every 5th week
Job Description:
The MRI technologist is responsible for producing quality MR images while providing optimal patient care and applying all principles of patient safety. MRI technologists are expected to participate in on-going training and education relating to positioning, technique and MRI safety guidelines.
Requirements:

• Graduate AMA approved School
• 1+ Year Experience
• Confident with pacemakers

License Required: Registered Radiographer (ARRT)
Certificates Required: BLS
Equipment used: Siemens 1.5 T Sola, Cerner, Unity PACS, Interview PACS

• Achieva 1.5 Philips Magnet experience a plus

• Responsible for Patient Safety, including pre-screening for contra-indications, aseptic injection technique and may require remote MR Technologists Assistant oversite.
• Produces high quality diagnostic images. Operation of multiple MR systems may be required.
• Demonstrates the ability to use all channels of communications to address concerns, solve problems, and address conflict.
• Effectively communicates with customers and/or radiologists.
• Trains and orients new technologists, patient coordinators and MR Technologist Assistants, on site and/or remote.
