Job Overview:
The driver transports people between various places. The drivers will follow a daily schedule while transporting people on regular routes. Performs all inspections required by the company. Promotes teamwork and actively participates in the quality improvement process.
Roles and Responsibilities:

• Check the vehicle tires, lights, oil and other basic maintenance.
• Keep the bus clean and presentable to the public.
• Pick up and drop off passengers at designated locations.
• Follow planned route according to time schedule.
• Obey traffic laws and transit regulations.
• Follow procedures to make sure they and all passengers are safe.
• Keep passengers informed of possible delays.
• Report accidents or other traffic disruptions to safety and manager
• Listen to and address passenger complaints.
• Watch traffic and people carefully to ensure the safety of passengers.
• Inspect/verify vehicles or other equipment for serviceability, evidence of abuse, damage, or mechanical malfunction, fill out dispatch.
• Inspect vehicles or equipment to ensure compliance with rules, standards, or regulations.
• Performs inspections as required by company policies and procedures.
• Promotes teamwork and actively participates in the quality improvement process.
• Practices and ensures compliance with all established safety policies and standards.
• Responsible for other duties assigned by management.
• Employees need to be flexible, productive, team players and follow the direction given by management.

Qualifications & Certifications:

• Must have driver's license
• Preferred Experience in government and/or commercial vehicle maintenance functions.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

• CDL license
• Bilingual Spanish/English preferred

Skills, Abilities And Years of Experience:

• Minimum three (3) years of appropriate experience.
