Primary Purpose of Organizational Unit:At the UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health, we know that health care leaders need a variety of skills and knowledge to be prepared for all of the new developments that lie ahead. MPH Program Assistant needed to do the following:
* Assist in maintaining multiple weekly newsletters for the MPH program and Practicum.
* Monitor Practicum and MPH Coordinators inbox and help assign tasks as they come in.
* Support practicum team in daily operations such as reviewing documents, recording notes during team meetings and practicum-related conversations.
* Assist with efforts to update practicum policies & procedures manual and MPH handbook as needed.
* Assist with AY 24-25 planning efforts and practicum/course materials.
* Maintain and organize student paperwork in electronic student files.
* Assist with administrative tasks for program (ie filling out paperwork and facilitating attainment of signatures, etc)
* Update MPH Program & Practicum website and work with Communications team to ensure accurate representation of the program.
* Exercises appropriate confidentiality in record-keeping in accordance with local policies and FERPA regulations
* Other duties as assigned by Academic Affairs leadership to meet business needs.
Bachelor’s degree and one year of experience related to the area of assignment; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
