Job Title:Monument Designer – Fram Monument Company
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Designer to join our monument company's design team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating detailed drawings and plans for monument projects, incorporating client specifications and design requirements. The Designer will work closely with our sales and production teams to ensure accurate and timely completion of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
· Create detailed drawings and plans for monument projects using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
· Collaborate with sales and production teams to understand client specifications and design requirements.
· Develop accurate 2D models of monument designs, considering factors such as dimensions, materials, and structural integrity.
· Plotting stencil using plotter/cutter
· Provide support to sales team by creating visual presentations and renderings for client proposals.
· Prepare instructions and coordinate with production team to ensure that drawings and specifications are accurately translated into finished products.
· Revise and modify drawings as needed based on client feedback, design changes, or production requirements.
· Maintain organized documentation of all drawings, revisions, and project specifications.
· Stay updated on industry trends, software advancements, and best practices in monument design and drafting.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree or equivalent in drafting, graphic design, interior design, or a related field.
· Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software, such as AutoCAD or similar programs.
· Strong attention to detail and accuracy in drafting and technical documentation.
· Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
· Creative problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
· Prior experience in monument design, drafting, or a related field is preferred but not required.
Success Criteria:
· Achieve a minimum of 95% accuracy in monument drawings and plans.
· Complete all drafting tasks within specified deadlines, with at least 90% of projects delivered on time.
· Receive positive feedback from clients on the quality and accuracy of drawings, with a target satisfaction rating of 4.5 out of 5.
· Collaborate effectively with sales and production teams to ensure seamless project coordination, resulting in a 20% reduction in revision requests.
· Participate in at least two professional development opportunities per year to enhance drafting skills and stay updated on industry trends.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
