The Designer/Sales Consultant is accountable to the Sales Manager. This position serves two roles, that of a Designer, where you will be responsible for designing all aspects of the projects that you are selling and as a Design Consultant where you will be responsible for all aspects of selling the project.

• Designer responsibilities include, but are not limited to: a) interpreting the design wishes of the client; b) presenting value to the client through innovative design that meets the client’s needs; c) developing noteworthy design that can be easily implemented and produced; d) making selections with clients using BuilderTrend; e) space planning; f) site measures and CAD drawings; g) achievement or surpassing of targets for design production; h) creation of project books.

• Experience in the Kitchen and Bath Remodeling process.

• Understanding of Spec Books of Cabinetry, Appliance, Countertops, Tile, Closets and Backsplash

• Able to develop and maintain cordial and professional relationships with all levels of the business.

• Self-motivated candidate who can work as an individual contributor and collaboratively with the team.

• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to swiftly shift approach based on audience

• Ability to communicate complex issues/solutions in a manner that is easily understood and actionable despite the audience.

• Collaborate regularly with internal team, providing and receiving constructive feedback to improve current performance and become more effective.

• Experience in interior design, industrial design, or architecture a plus.

Excellent commission-based income opportunity with a draw against commission, our current designers earn $60,000-$160,000 per year

Pay: $48,991.00 - $95,000.00 per year

• Bachelor's (Required)
