**Position: Montessori Assistant Guide for Infants and Toddlers**
**Location: Busy Bees Montessori School**

**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a passionate and caring Montessori Assistant Guide to support our Montessori Guide in planning, organizing, and guiding our infant and toddler students. The ideal candidate will assist in creating a supportive, prepared environment where every child can thrive and explore according to their individual developmental needs and interests.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Support the Montessori Guide in preparing and maintaining an orderly, safe, and inviting environment for the children.
- Assist in the implementation of the Montessori curriculum and the preparation of educational materials.
- Observe and document children’s progress and behaviors, sharing observations with the Montessori Guide to better support each child’s development.
- Engage with the children in a manner that encourages independence, concentration, and positive social interactions.
- Provide direct care needs for the children, including feeding, diapering, and facilitating nap times, according to each child’s schedule and needs.
- Foster a loving, nurturing, and respectful relationship with the children, respecting each child as an individual.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
- Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development opportunities relevant to the role.
- Work collaboratively with the entire Montessori School team to support the school’s mission and contribute to a positive, cohesive community environment.
**Qualifications:**
- A genuine passion for working with infants and toddlers in a Montessori setting.
- Understanding of Montessori principles and philosophy is preferred, with a willingness to undergo further Montessori professional development.
- Previous experience in a childcare setting, Montessori experience is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and under the guidance of a Montessori Guide.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Patience, flexibility, and a positive, nurturing demeanor.
- Must pass a background check and have current CPR and First Aid certification, or be willing to obtain them.
