Responsibilities
Position Summary:
Under the direction of the Charge Nurse provides clerical support for the department. Assumes responsibility for patient medical records. Manages communication of information. Accountable for regulatory compliance in areas of responsibility. The position reports to the charge Nurse. The position is subject to call-off based on unit census and productivity indicators. Assists with central monitoring in Telemetry Care.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- One year as Unit Coordinator or Nursing Assistant required or equivalent (i.e. MA, EMT, etc.).
- Basic computer operations.
- Proficiency in basic math skills, word processing, keyboard and spread sheets.
- Medical terminology courses.
- Current BLS certification,
- Basic EKG certification and interpretation within 3 months.
- Computerized order entry.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 12-Lead EKG certification.
