Job Summary:
Completion of EKG course and Monitor Tech certificate or equivalent-
EKG test administered before the interview
Provides indirect patient care and clerical support in the nursing unit under the direction and supervision of the Team Leader, ICU Charge Nurse, House Supervisor, and/or Clinical Director.
Experience, Education and Licensure Required:
· High School diploma or the equivalent
· Completion of EKG course and Monitor Tech certificate or equivalent- Required
Skills and Abilities Required:
· Basic computer knowledge
· Ability to react and communicate quickly and effectively in an emergency
· Ability to read and communicate effectively in English
· Ability to recognize and interpret all variations of EKGs possible
*Night shift and Day Shift available at our Los Angeles and Van Nuys campus!
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.28 - $23.21 per hour
Expected hours: 36 – 48 per week
