This is a part-time day position!

Responsibilities

The Monitor Tech is an unlicensed individual who provides indirect care in a department setting. They order supplies for the unit, prepare, and complete each patient's chart for required forms daily, monitor cardiac rhythms using direct cardiac monitors, meet the department's communication needs, transcribe physician orders in the absence of CPOE and EMR clinical documentation system, and verify that lab and radiology tests have been ordered and completed.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

 

1. High School Diploma or Equivalent or related experience required for all new hires, effective April 2014.2. Current Dysrhythmia Interpretation Certificate within 30 days of hire and maintain current3. Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current4. Six months previous experience in Healthcare or as Monitor Technician
