Job Summary and Qualifications

• Monitor, interpret and report data for adolescent, adult and geriatric patients from telemetry monitor systems 
• Interpret and recognize rhythms with the potential to alter the patients physiology and report to licensed staff immediately 
• Document rhythm status per routine, for all changes, and upon request during emergent patient interventions 
• Report changes in pulse oximetry data to appropriate licenses personnel 
• Follow procedure for application functions as directed by the licensed staff 
• Maintain stock supplies for monitoring area 
• Maintain a safe work environment 

What qualifications you will need:

• Previous PCU monitoring experience preferred
• Must successfully pass EKG exam within 60 days of hire date. 
• Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
