Summary:
The Associate Recruiter - Physician Recruitment, in partnership with the Physician Recruiters and department leadership, is responsible for assisting with the managing of the recruitment and staffing process from sourcing and vetting candidates to the coordination and oversight of visit logistics for the successful recruitment and hiring of medical staff providers.
Detailed responsibilities:
• Manage and execute the coordination of all candidate site visit logistics including but not limited to the oversight of the successful completion of the interview process from beginning to end.
• Partner with Physician Recruiter(s) in sourcing and vetting candidates as identified in the Physician Recruitment Opportunity Profiles and manpower needs.
• Responsible for developing and maintaining effective rapport with key stakeholders and physician candidates to ensure constant process improvement in the recruitment continuum process and serve as ambassador for physician candidates by hosting site visits, and /or attending job fairs/specialty conferences for sourcing purposes on behalf of physician recruiters or service line leaders.
• Manage candidate-related department expenses to ensure fiscal responsibility, appropriate use of resources during candidate visits, and compliance with established guidelines.
• Manage contract process, including origination, implementation, and execution for all division contracts including vendor and non-employed community physician recruitment agreements, among others.
• Responsible for maintaining complaint candidate information updated the applicant tracking system in accordance with procedures.

Complexity of Work: Required critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Required Work Experience: Two (2) years in healthcare environment, business development, physician recruitment, human resources, marketing/advertising or related field.
Must become a Fellow of the Association for Advancing Physician and Provider Recruitment (AAPPR) within one (1) year of hire preferred.
