Position:

• Full-time
• In-person

Responsibilities:

• Provide daily fleet service for Large Customer Trailer Fleet.
• Conduct routine inspections of trailer to identify and address mechanical, electrical, or structural issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks to ensure trailers are in optimal working condition.
• Check daily outgoing loaded trailers to make sure they are roadworthy and safe.
• Repair trailers: frame, electric system, air brake system, landing gear, suspension, axels, doors, kingpin plate, scuff liner, corner cap, corner radius, and bumpers.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot problems with brakes, suspensions, lighting, and other tailer components.
• Repair or replace damaged parts, components, or systems as needed.
• Welding and fabrication as necessary for structural repairs and modifications.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed on each trailer.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to ensure smooth workflow.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations during all maintenance and repair activities.
• Stay up to date with industry regulations, safety standards, and manufacturer guidelines.
• Be available for on-call or emergency services to assist with trailer breakdowns, accidents, or other urgent situations that require immediate attention.
• Assist customers during breakdowns by providing on-site repairs and troubleshooting services.

Qualifications:

• Valid Driver's License
• Any Trailer Manufacture Special Schooling.
• Five years of trailer repair experience.
• Stick welding and fabrication experience with replacing side wall, corner radius, bottom and top rail, king pin plate, rear header, rear bolster, and roof bows.
• Familiar with Full Bay Shop Software.
• Strong knowledge of trailer systems, hydraulics, electrical components, and welding techniques.
• Proficiency in using various repair tools, equipment, and diagnostic devices common in the field.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical manuals and blueprints.
• Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication interpersonal skills.

Compensation:

• $30.00 - $37.00 / hour
