Natural State Laboratories is hiring Mobile Phlebotomists in the Fayetteville, AR, areas.

Natural State Laboratories provides toxicology, clinical, genetic, and molecular testing needs of health care facilities in Arkansas and around the country.

We are looking for someone who is confident in phlebotomy skills and enjoys providing excellent patient care and customer service.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

As a Mobile Phlebotomist, you will call on long-term care facilities to draw blood samples from patients. You will serve as a lab representative to the providers and nurses of the facility ensuring that requisitions are properly completed. You will also be responsible for transporting blood and specimen samples to a courier in the area. Below is a quick list of the job duties that you should expect when working as a phlebotomy technician for Natural State Laboratories:

• Provide exceptional customer service.
• Collect blood samples from patients
• Practice proper patient identification
• Label vials with patient names and dates
• Determine the best method for drawing blood from each patient
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Keep your phlebotomy cart well organized at all times
• Practice infection control standards at all times when working with patients and equipment
• Transport all specimen samples to a nearby laboratory or meet with a courier
• Travel across your assigned region

Requirements

• A phlebotomy certificate from an accredited agency is preferred
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience as a phlebotomist
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision
• Reliable transportation and clean driving record
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
• Nursing home/long-term care experience is a plus

Work location: mobile in the Fayetteville area

Required: Clean driving record, background check, and drug screening

Salary/Rate of Pay: $19.57 /hour
