Creative Services Manager
GENERAL DUTIES
Kampgrounds of America, Inc. is seeking a Junior Graphic Designer to join our national marketing department. In this role, you'll engage in a variety of marketing initiatives, ranging from crafting brochures and advertisements to designing compelling PowerPoint presentations and diverse marketing materials. The ideal applicant should be enthusiastic about design and eager to broaden their expertise in this field. As part of our team, you'll develop and execute design concepts under the mentorship of our seasoned Graphic Designer. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with team members on various projects, taking on unique design challenges, and focusing on design production. We're searching for a candidate who is not only dependable and energetic but detail oriented and capable of adhering to deadlines. Experience in web design, video editing, and other related areas will be considered an advantageous addition to your skill set.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Graphic Design: Create visually appealing graphics and marketing materials for both print and digital platforms, ensuring brand consistency.
- Web Design: Expertise in web design and UI/UX to create compelling digital experiences.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams and outside advertising agencies across the company to understand project requirements and deliver effective design solutions.
- Conceptualization: Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate creative ideas for marketing campaigns, product launches, and brand promotions.
- Adherence to Brand Guidelines: Ensure all design work aligns with brand guidelines and maintains a cohesive visual identity across various platforms.
- Software Proficiency: Utilize industry-standard design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) to create high-quality designs and assets.
- Feedback Incorporation: Actively participate in design critiques and incorporate feedback to refine and improve designs.
- Organization: Ability to juggle multiple projects at the same time while working towards deliverable deadlines.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional graphic design experience.
- Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design work, with an emphasis on both print and digital projects.
- Proficiency in graphic design software, including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with current design trends and a passion for staying updated on industry developments.
- Additional Skills (Preferred):
- Experience with UX/UI design principles.
- Animation and video editing skills a plus
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) for web design.
- Has a passion for KOA values and the outdoor industry
- Has a valid driver's license
- Agrees to a background check
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in an in-house creative department or marketing/ad agency
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds occasionally.
- Must speak and write English fluently.
- Requires long periods of sitting and viewing computer screens.
- Ability to travel by air or car, as needed.
- Must be located in Montana, or surrounding area. Hybrid work schedule optional.
