We manufacture and distribute specialty meats, flatbreads, dips, spreads, and sauces.Grecian Delight | Kronos Foods Crop is seeking a Mixer Operator for our Elk Grove Village location.
As our Mixer Operator you would be responsible for processing duties and maintaining equipment to keep production at optimum efficiency at all times while complying with GMP's, food safety standards, quality standards, and safe practices.What you are going to be doing...Responsible for production effectivenessAcquire ingredient supplyHandle change oversLifting 50 lb. bags of ingredients frequentlyChanging machine settings as neededConduct product inspection to ensure specs are metKeep work area clean and organizedCross-train in all Operator position duties within the departmentFollow all Safety Guidelines and use Protective Equipment (PPE)Comply with food safety and quality assurance standards (GMPs, HACCP, FSI, SQF, etc.)Other duties as assignedWhat you need to have...Experience in manufacturing environment, with food experience a plusClear verbal and written communication skillsBasic math skillsBi-lingual (English/ Spanish) a plusShift FlexibilityWhat you will get paid...$19.00/hr. - $20.00/hr.Physical Demands/Work Environment...Manufacturing plant environment with varied temperatures including hot, cold, and freezer.
The work environment includes a variety of physical conditions, such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current, working on high places, and/or exposure to chemicals in work setting.
