Job description

We are a National Telehealth company that connects patients with Licensed MDs or DO for medicine-assisted weight loss treatment. We are currently seeking a part-time telehealth MD to help patients get prescribed and start losing weight with Wegovy or a generic equivalent. This person must have a proven track record in medicine-assisted weight loss treatment plans.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Reviewing charts and determining if patients qualify for Wegovy or generic equivalent.
• Charting in an electric EMR as necessary.
• Strong knowledge of current weight loss treatment techniques/trends.
• Able to work independently, following established policies and protocols.
• Works with staff members to ensure patient processing flows smoothly.
• Proven time management and organization.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Active MD or DO License in Missouri (other states are a plus!)
• DEA & Controlled Substance License.
• Ability to utilize technology, specifically the in-house EMR system (we will train).
• Experience in weight loss medicine including medication-assisted treatment like Wegovy.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $120.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
