We are seeking a talented, experienced Mission Operations Manager to help define the future of lunar surface mobility in a fast-paced startup environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with major subcontractors to develop flight operations processes and plans
- Oversee development of training programs for crewed and uncrewed missions
- Manage cost, schedule, and risk across multiple integrated product teams
- Provide regular status updates to Program Management Office
- Manage teams responsible for ground segment, flight operations, and training system development
- Work with Program Science Director and Commercialization lead to ensure NASA and commercial customer objectives are addressed
- Work with SEIT Manager and Vehicle Manager to ensure contract requirements are met
Required Qualifications:
- Experience in technical management on large-scale aerospace programs
- Experience managing subcontractors and partner organizations
- Experience working in all phases of program lifecycle- from inception to disposal
- Proven track record of successfully delivering on-time and high-quality work products on aerospace programs
- Demonstrated ability to communicate technical and programmatic content to management and customer groups
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience
- Self-motivated, focused, and driven to meet critical deadlines
- Excellent organization and time management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Aerospace or similar engineering discipline
- Experience working directly with launch providers
- Experience managing a team of 15 or more
- Experience working with NASA customers
- Strong understanding of Class A spacecraft requirements and constraints
- Human Spaceflight program experience
