STAHL Companies provides the Program Management for its Channel of Commercial Technology companies in Government that consist of Small Businesses and New Technology start-ups.

STAHL advocates for policies that can improve government services and maintain our government's competitive advantage, by bringing more technology into government programs.

STAHL Companies advocates on behalf of our nation's innovative, new technology and small businesses looking to work with the U.S. government. We do this by aligning the voice of our small business members with advocacy for change in federal policy that will make the government market more accessible to small businesses and the commercial technology ecosystem.

The Channel's founding Technical Board Members include former government leaders and IT executives passionate about bringing best-of-breed technology to the government.

Job Description:

Team leadership skills are required to lead a team of social media and Web 2.0 developers and KM experts for large-scale implementation across DoD. Must be able to gather user requirements, translate them to technical tasks and coordinate a technical solution to meet the user requirements with a solid understanding of authentication and access management, while having the strategic vision to lay out a way ahead for the DoD’s use of social business solutions both business and tactical. Must be experienced in technical writing and documentation and be able to articulate in communicating both orally and in writing with the ability to present to Flag Officers, General Officers, and members of the Senior Executive Service.

Responsibilities:

• Must be able to gather user requirements, translate them to technical tasks and coordinate a technical solution to meet the user requirements with a solid understanding of authentication and access management, while having the strategic vision to lay out a way ahead for the DoD’s use of social business solutions both business and tactical.
• Must be experienced in technical writing and documentation and be able to articulate in communicating both orally and in writing with the ability to present to Flag Officers, General Officers, and members of the Senior Executive Service.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, or Information Systems, or Engineering, or Business, or related scientific or technical discipline
• Expert in Open Source technology and social business solutions, crowd-sourcing and professional networking in the Army and DoD
• Expert knowledge of Army and DoD social media policies, trends and constraints is a must
• The candidate must have expert knowledge in MediaWiki, WordPress, JIVE Social Business Software (SBS) and other social media and content management systems
• Must be intimately knowledgeable of MS SharePoint, SAP Business Objects, ASP.NET and C#.NET, HTML, JavaScript, XSLT and CSS, Jquery, Microsoft Visual Studio, Structure Query Language (SQL)/Server Management Studio, Transact-SQL programming; creating stored procedures and views, Object oriented analysis, design and programming
• Significant experience and knowledge in software and systems analysis, design, project lifecycle methodology, system integration, implementation and deployment

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Master’s Degree in Computer Science, or Information Systems, or Engineering, or related scientific or technical discipline
• Experience with agile, sprint, scrum software development methodologies
• PMP Certification
