Paisley School District, Paisley, Oregon is offering a full-time 7-12 mathematics teaching position, beginning the 2024-2025 school year. Qualified individuals must be properly licensed to teach in the state of Oregon:
Middle Level: Pre-Algebra/Algebra
High School: Algebra/Geometry/Algebra II/Pre-Calculus/Calculus/Trigonometry
(some of these high school classes are for dual college credit).
An endorsement to teach middle school and high School Mathematics in Oregon is required. The ability to secure a reciprocal Oregon credential in mathematics based on certification in an outside state is also acceptable. Recent graduates with a mathematics credential, or candidates matriculating in the winter or spring of 2024, are also encouraged to apply.
This is a 163-day contract, based on a four-day school week. District housing is available at a subsidized rate. Medical, dental and vision insurance, and PERS benefits are fully paid by the District. The successful candidate will enjoy teaching small class sizes and the support of working and living in a rural community. High school coaching opportunities may also be available.
2024-2025 Salary Range: $46,305-87,023. First day of work is August 20, 2024.
