Description:
The Middle School Principal is a key educational leader responsible for the administration, management, and supervision of all aspects of the Middle School’s operations. This includes creating a positive and supportive learning environment, fostering student success, overseeing curriculum development, managing staff, and engaging with parents and the broader community.Educational Leadership: Provide visionary leadership in the development, implementation, and evaluation of educational programs that meet the diverse needs of Middle School students.Foster a positive school culture that promotes academic excellence, student engagement, and social-emotional well-being.Implement best practices in teaching and learning to improve student outcomes and achievement.Administration and Management: *Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Middle School, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, as well as district policies and procedures.Maintain a safe and inclusive school environment conducive to learning.Curriculum Development and Instruction: *Collaborate with teachers and instructional leaders to develop and implement a rigorous and standards-aligned curriculum.Provide guidance and support to teachers in instructional planning, assessment, and differentiation strategies.Monitor student progress and implement interventions as needed to support student learning.Staff Supervision and Professional Development: *Recruit, hire, and retain qualified staff who are dedicated to the school’s mission and vision.Provide regular feedback, coaching, and evaluation to staff to support their professional growth and development.Facilitate opportunities for ongoing professional learning and collaboration among faculty and staff.Parent and Community Engagement: *Cultivate positive relationships with parents, families, and community stakeholders through effective communication and outreach efforts.Collaborate with community organizations, businesses, and other partners to enhance educational opportunities and resources for students.Seek input and feedback from stakeholders to inform decision-making and improve school practices.Student Support and Discipline: *Implement proactive strategies to promote positive behavior and prevent discipline issues.Address student behavior and disciplinary matters in a fair, consistent, and compassionate manner, in accordance with school policies and procedures.*Coordinate support services and interventions to meet the academic, social, and emotional needs of students
