GovCIO is currently hiring for .Net Software Developer to support our client’s contract needs. This position is located in the Alexandria, VA area and will be full remote position with some intermittent on-site work, if requested.
Responsibilities:- Design and implement software solutions in an Agile Scrum environment, 3-week sprints. T
- Interact directly with the product owner and business process SMEs
- Interpret user needs via both oral and written documentation and help the Lead Developer in addressing technical issues while also authoring various required technical artifacts and documents
- Troubleshoot issues that arise
Bachelor's with 5 - 8 years (or commensurate experience)
Required Skills and Experience
- 5+ years of experience with C# software development
- 5+ years of experience with ASP.NET MVC 4.5+ software development
- SQL and . Entity Framework experience
- 5+ years of experience with Windows Server development environments
- 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Visual Studio 2017/2019
- 4+ years of experience with REST API development and JSON data-interchange format
- 3+ years of experience with Agile Software Development methodology and tools like Rally, Jira, etc.
- 3+ years of experience with NUnit or any Unit Test-Driven Development
- Clearance Required: Must be able to obtain and maintain USPTO Public Trust
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Experience LINQ, and/or is a plus.
- Cloud migration experience is highly preferred
