General Studies Elementary Math Teacher

Spivak Hebrew Academy is seeking an Elementary Math Teacher to lead Upper Elementary and Middle School Math for grades 4,5,6,7.  The teacher will also work as part of the General Studies team, through meetings and reporting to the Director of Education of the school.

Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Display efficiency in classroom management and leading class
• Implement plans for differentiated classroom instruction 
• Working with class as whole, as well as individual students, and small groups
• Attend Faculty meetings and professional development 
• Perform duties as required by the school and General Studies team
• Flexible, Organized, Energetic, and Friendly
• Excellent classroom Management
• Proficiency with Curriculum Planning
• Strong Team Player
• Excellent organizational, time management, and follow-through skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Education/Credentials:

• Bachelors Degree Required
• CA Teaching Credentials Required
