Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze requirements and design new functionality for applications.
- Support and fix existing functionality as needed.
- Select and implement appropriate technologies for application development.
- Design and build application layers for optimal performance.
- Implement Application Infrastructure in Azure PaaS setup.
- Develop scalable CI/CD pipelines and integrate solutions for continuous deployment.
- Incorporate best DevOps practices into development processes.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for efficient management.
- Ensure infrastructure compliance and security.
- Integrate source control and manage build infrastructure.
- Implement code flow and manage application configuration and secrets.
- Deliver on promised dates and timeframes following documented business processes.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Identify and escalate issues, risks and dependencies appropriately.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent education/experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Azure DevOps and experience with Azure PaaS setup.
- Significant work experience with .NET platform, C#, MVC (3, 4 and 5), HTML and jQuery.
- Experience collaborating with multiple developers using source control software.
- Experience with application support and maintenance in an enterprise-level environment.
- Ability to develop technical documentation for system enhancements and test scenarios.
- Proficiency with SQL Server in PaaS and ability to write complex T-SQL statements.
Good To Have Skills:
- Azure certifications (Azure DevOps, Solution Architect, etc.).
- Experience in county government environments.
- Previous experience as a DevOps developer/engineer.
- Programming experience in .NET, MVC, T-SQL, C#, HTML and PowerBI.
