Join Maximus' Technology Consulting Services team supporting a Department of Defense client's exciting and innovative software development program designed to develop and deploy digital capability to cyber mission forces around the world.
The Full Stack Software Engineer will be responsible for:
- Building software applications by facilitating and overseeing connections between front end and back-end development
- Perform user research and usability testing to develop and prioritize user stories across project lines of effort
- Contribute to goals identified through program requirements in collaboration with government clients during agile planning events
- Develop quality code which can pass security reviews and scans
- Effectively work within an ecosystem of government and contractor staff
- Achieve velocity and story point completion goals
- Maintain system boundary authority to operate and compliance with DoD Enterprise DevSecOps mandates including the DoD Enterprise DevSecOps Reference Design, Container Hardening guide and cybersecurity requirements
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Must be a US Citizen with the eligibility to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
- Bachelors of Science in Engineering, Computer Science or technical degree (or industry equivalent).
- 5+ years of experience in software development.
- Looking for individuals with experience integrating legacy Big Data Platforms (BDPs), developing new applications and services, and following agile methodologies in line with US Cyber Command (USCYBERCOM) , JCWA, and similar DOD environments.
- CSSLP or CISSP Certification

Pay Transparency
Maximus compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to job location, a candidate's education, training, experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value analysis including seniority and merit systems, as well as internal pay alignment. Annual salary is just one component of Maximus's total compensation package. Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards. Additionally, Maximus provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off. Compensation ranges may differ based on contract value but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
