Job Description
In this role, you will have the opportunity to support industry-leading companies solve complex engineering problems in aerospace/defense, space, energy, commercial vehicles, and more. Your scope of work may involve electric circuit design to include PCBA design and layout, component lifecycle and obsolescence, design/product certification, or design/product validation and verification.
Job Duties:
*Work with senior engineers to design, simulate, and analyze both digital and analog circuits as part of a larger system.
* Interpret and apply system specifications and requirements to electric designs.
* Work with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure all components of the system will perform as intended in the expected end use environment.
* Analyze circuits and designs to address component obsolescence with drop-in replacement or circuit re-design.
Required Qualifications:
* Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related discipline
* Three to five years of relevant experience
* Due to the nature of the work, U.S. Citizenship is required
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Detail oriented and has a great attitude with a willingness to learn
* Experience in aerospace, maritime, or other safety critical industries
* Experience with schematic capture and PCB design software (Altium, Cadence OrCAD, Mentor Graphics/Siemens, etc.)
* Ability and willingness to obtain secret clearance if requested or an active clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
* Ability to work well in a team environment while getting direction and mentorship
* Highly energetic, motivated, and adaptable
* Experience with circuit simulation (SPICE-based software)
We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a salary range of $90,000 to $135,000. Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline.
