Form of workJoin Maximus' Technology Consulting Services team supporting a Department of Defense client's exciting and innovative software development program designed to develop and deploy digital capability to cyber mission forces around the world. The Mid-Level Back End Software Engineer will be responsible for: - Developing services that execute business logic functions.- Perform user research and usability testing to develop and prioritize user stories across project lines of effort.- Contribute to goals identified through program requirements in collaboration with government clients during agile planning events.- Develop quality code which can pass security reviews and scans.- Effectively work within an ecosystem of government and contractor staff - Achieve velocity and story point completion goals.- Maintain system boundary authority to operate and compliance with DoD Enterprise DevSecOps mandates including the DoD Enterprise DevSecOps Reference Design, Container Hardening guide and cybersecurity requirements.Required Skills & Qualifications:- Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a security clearance. - Bachelors of Science in Engineering, Computer Science or technical degree (or industry equivalent).- 5+ years of experience in software development.- Direct significant experience integrating legacy Big Data Platforms (BDPs), developing new applications and services, and following agile methodologies in line with US Cyber Command (USCYBERCOM), JCWA, and similar DOD environments.- Any of the following certifications: CASP+ CE or CISSP (or Associate), or CSSLP or CISSP-ISSAP or CISSP-ISSEP or CCSPDesired/Preferred Skills:- Experience with Cloud-based systems and/or Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning Development- Ability to communicate clearly through written and verbal mediums to ensure critical information is always shared across the enterprise and with stakeholders#techjobs #clearance #UPDM
