Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated MicroStrategy Architect to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about using data to develop powerful insights and facilitate informed decision-making. The successful candidate must have a strong background in data analytics and the ability to think strategically to develop and implement performance-centric solutions that create value for our clients. We are looking for a solid understanding of the MicroStrategy platform. The successful candidate must possess a strong combination of technical aptitude and business acumen, a knack for problem-solving, and a drive to innovate continuously. We expect our MicroStrategy Architect to be able to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment and must be comfortable in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
Key Responsibilities

• MicroStrategy schema definition, design, implementation, and maintenance
• Performance tuning, testing, and troubleshooting BI solutions.
• Analysis and interpretation of business requirements and translation into functional and technical requirement specifications
• Assistance with project planning, estimating, approach definition, and implementation planning.
• Support, design, build, and test MicroStrategy objects, projects, reports, dashboards, cubes
• Evaluate current and emerging BI industry trends and best practices when designing BI solutions.
• Work closely with DBAs on data model or database changes required to support BI projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (such as Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, Econometrics).
• Proven 10+ years of expertise in extensible/sustainable reporting solutions based on business needs including 5+ years of MicroStrategy experience.
• Solid experience in designing and constructing dimensional, logical, and physical models in collaboration with Data Architect and Data Engineers; provides MicroStrategy expertise for the development of drilling, aggregation, and partitioning strategies.
• Must have Created, modified, and optimized advanced SQL code including, but not limited to, subqueries, CTEs, and temporary tables.
• Demonstrated skills in performance tuning and troubleshooting of both new and existing BI solutions.
• Experience in optimizing MicroStrategy infrastructure with a focus on usability, performance, long-term, flexibility, and standardization.
• Conducting validation of existing reporting and new solutions to ensure continuous accuracy and front-end ease-of-use.
• Experience in analyzing and architecting short-term and long-term reporting requirements.
• Experience in mentoring MicroStrategy developers, including but not limited to the functionality and best practices for dashboard and report development.
• Experience with Teradata database
