Description
Contribute to GM’s development modernization activities such as CI/CD platform enablement and automation engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, Big Data development, or new business capability development. Develop applications on back-office microservices, mobile, web, and in-vehicle customer platforms. Note, this is a hybrid position whereby the employee will work both from home and from the aforementioned office address. Hence, the employee must live within a reasonable commuting distance of the aforementioned office address.
Additional Description
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related degree. Two years of experience with Job offered or related software development position. Must have experience with: 2 years of experience with software development utilizing industry standard design patterns in common languages such as Java; experience with test-driven development techniques (TDD, Junit, mocks); experience with developing 12-factor microservices while utilizing Continuous Integration, Build, and Delivery w/Spring, Spring Boot; experience with the ELK stack and dashboarding within Kibana; and experience with supporting applications in Production.
