Primary Duties:
- Processing specimens for laboratory analysis
- Performing molecular and serological based assays
- Performing test validations.
- Drafting, writing and/or updating SOPs and grants
- Evaluating quality control and performing corrective actions
- Performing instrument maintenance
- Troubleshooting interfaces between laboratory equipment and laboratory information systems
- Monitoring testing processes for accuracy and timeliness
- Communicating with Epidemiologists and local partners
- MUST meet CLIA testing personnel qualifications (
- Previous experience working in a clinical or research laboratory
- Previous experience performing Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR)
- Strong communication skills
- Meets CLIA testing personnel qualifications (
- Previous experience performing immunoassays
- Previous experience performing Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR)
- Basic knowledge of Molecular Biology
- Basic knowledge of Medical Microbiology
