Overview: Immediate openings for entry level & early career Microbiologists within a beverage manufacturing facility.
Responsibilities:
- Document and respond to consumer complaints
- Assist with the weekly microbiological report
- Report any mechanical, raw material or procedural problems to the Quality Manager
- Perform a variety of sample collections and plating of finished products.
- Read and interpret microbioloqical plates.
- Participate in short and long term microbioloqical research projects.
- Prepare reagents, standards, and buffer solutions as necessary.
- Order laboratory supplies and equipment.
- Help maintain the consumer complaint database
- Perform other tasks as requested by the Quality Manager.
- Perform miscellaneous projects as needed, including; extra sample collections, new product testing, testing consumer samples, changing carbon beds or cleaning reaction tanks in the waterplant, etc.
Requirements:
- Minimum of an AS degree in Biology
- High Attention to detail
- Ability to work within a team
- Ability to adapt to an changing environment
