Job Description
HII Mission Technologies is seeking a Manager - Project Management 3 to join our C5ISR Business Group supporting NORAD/NORTHCOM in Colorado Springs, CO. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and leading projects from initiation through delivery, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of the customer.
This is a HYBRID - TELEWORK position. Candidate must be local to the Colorado Springs, CO area, or within reasonable commuting distance for periodic on-site work.
Essential Job Responsibilities
- Manage and lead projects from initiation through delivery, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of the customer.
- Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, and track progress against them.
- Identify and manage project risks and issues, and develop mitigation strategies as needed.
- Manage project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials.
- Communicate project status and issues to stakeholders, including customers, project team members, and senior management.
- Ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards and customer requirements.
- Manage project change requests and scope creep, and ensure that changes are properly documented and approved.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as applicable laws and regulations.
Minimum Qualifications
8 years relevant progressive experience with Bachelors in related field; 6 years relevant progressive experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 12 years relevant progressive experience.
- Former or retired US military personnel with 5+ years of demonstrable experience on a MAJOR Command Headquarters staff
- TS/SCI security clearance required

- PMP or PMI certification
- 5+ Experience managing projects in a defense or government contracting environment
- 8+ years of experience working on NORAD or NORTHCOM Headquarters Staff Elements
- Excellent communication and leadership skills

Primarily operating out of a Home-Office, Government Office, or SCIF environment.
