We are seeking an Operations Services Manager skilled and experienced in Batch Scheduling to join our IT Operations team, overseeing the Control-M product from BMC and managing/overseeing batch schedules for our operations in the United States, India and Hong Kong.
Your Role
As the Manager Operations Services, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient execution of batch processes critical to our global operations. You will be responsible for managing a team of two associates, working collaboratively with our teams in India and Hong Kong, and overseeing the Control-M product to maintain a seamless batch schedule. Your expertise in batch scheduling, BMC Control-M, and your leadership skills will be crucial in achieving operational excellence.

Your Impact
- Batch Scheduling Management: Lead and optimize the batch scheduling process for all critical business operations.
- Team Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and support a team of two direct reports, providing guidance on best practices and ensuring a high standard of work. Mentor and provide guidance to global team members as SME.
- Global Coordination: Collaborate closely with teams in India and Hong Kong to align batch schedules and maintain effective communication.
- Control-M Expertise: Be the in-house expert on the Control-M product from BMC, including configuration, optimization, and issue resolution.
- Schedule Optimization: Continuously evaluate and improve batch schedules to minimize processing times and reduce operational risk.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure the accuracy and reliability of batch processes, conducting regular audits and implementing quality control measures.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of batch schedules, configurations, and operational procedures.
- Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve scheduling and Control-M-related issues promptly to minimize operational disruptions.

Maximum Salary: $145,950.00
VS&Co provides a range of compensation for this role as shown. Your actual salary will be determined by a number of factors, including: your specific skills and experience, geographic region, or other relevant factors.
What Experience Should You Bring To This Role
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience in batch scheduling, preferably with BMC Control-M.
- Strong leadership skills with a minimum of 5 years of supervisory/managerial experience.
- Familiarity with working in a global setting, coordinating with offshore teams in India and Hong Kong.
- Proficiency in problem-solving and issue resolution related to batch scheduling.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- BMC Control-M certification or equivalent.
