Job Summary
This position is responsible for tactical operations of the team and operational support of the Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) program, facilitating and overseeing compliance for Information Security and regulatory required controls/audits; developing and maintaining compliance framework, as well as leading the compliance components of the attestation processes; facilitating the monitoring and reporting of operational risk; operating security risk management according to established policies and standards. Under the direction of the Sr. Manager Operations Performance lead day-to-day operational activities of the team as well as support ongoing process and system improvement activities to better support the overall GRC Program.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience with a broad range of exposure to systems analysis, application development, database design and administration or audit.
  • Minimum of 1 year in Management and/or Leadership.
  • Experience with Governance, Risk and Compliance concepts and processes (e.g. policies, audits, controls metrics)
  • Experience with compliance-based tools and processes for standardization, centralization and automation (e.g. policies, audits, controls, metrics).
  • Experience in simplifying and standardizing complex concepts and/or processes
  • Experience with cross functional efforts (i.e. major audits)
  • Experience leading and mentoring staff or team.
  • Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong Organizational skills, including ability to prioritize tasks; detail oriented.
  • Creativity and innovation, analysis and implementation skills and experience.
  • Business acumen and project/process integration skills.
  • Ability to influence, to execute, and navigate organizational politics.
  • A track record of business process improvement.

PREFERRED JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, MIS
  • Audit and Compliance experience
  • Knowledge of regulatory and statutory standards and practices.
  • Policy development and review
  • Relative Industry Experience and/or certifications (ie. CISA, KPI (Metrics), HCISPP)
  • Solid knowledge of technology
  • Experience with a GRC Solution
  • Understand key IT/IS concepts and how to articulate them in terms of risk
  • Understanding of key IT/IS laws and regulations such as HIPAA, as well as governance and compliance frameworks (NIST, COBIT, ITIL, HITRUST)
  • Data and analytical skills
  • Health care industry experience
  • Knowledge of Business Resiliency & Continuity planning concepts which includes, Business Impact Assessments, Business Continuity Plan development, BC Exercise Planning and Event Management
