Gross Pay: $3,321/week (For Travelers)

Shift: 8 am - 5 pm, Mon - Fri
Required: ARDMS, BLS and relevant experience
Description:
- High-Risk OB. Must have nuchal translucency cert and high-risk OB/MFM experience
- Performs each type of Ultrasound examination such as abdomen, pelvic, OB, carotid or soft tissue.
- Consistently provides immobilization and protective devices as required to ensure safety of patients and personnel.
- Assists physicians with examinations, biopsies and drainage procedures as needed to ensure proper diagnostic or therapeutic results
- Assists in the performance of first-aid as necessary. Must be familiar with procedures and equipment on the emergency carts to expedite care.
- Must demonstrate knowledge of principles of ultrasound, the equipment and how to use remote image storage for the permanent records of each examination.
- Must be familiar with hospital computer operations in order to complete exams, access patient's radiology files and statistical data.
- Must possess the ability to perform Diagnostic Medical Sonography
- Must be a highly motivated and organized individual who can balance patient care, productivity, communication, and public relations skills.
- Experience: One year of Diagnostic Ultrasound experience preferred.
- Diagnostic Ultrasound experience: Highly desired: 1 Year
- Must be Certified ARDMS(American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers).
- Must have current BLS and CPR certification
- Must possess the ability to perform Diagnostic Medical Sonography
