Responsibilities: - Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations using specialized equipment and techniques - Prepare patients for procedures, explaining the process and answering any questions they may have - Position patients and equipment to obtain high-quality images - Analyze images and data to assess the condition and health of patients - Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to interpret results and make diagnoses - Maintain accurate records of patient information and procedures performed - Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and sterile work environment Experience: - Minimum of [X] years of experience as an Ultrasonographer - Proficiency in a variety of Ultrasound Techniques, including but not limited to: Mammography, Aseptic technique, Physiology knowledge, Diagnostic evaluation, Medical imaging, Medical terminology, PET scan, CT, Sonography, Anatomy knowledge - Strong understanding of human anatomy and physiology - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Ability to work independently as well as part of a team - Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
