Pine Hill Trailers is looking for an experienced Metal Fabricator to join our growing team. You will be working with various machines to cut, punch, bend and manipulate metal to customer specifications.
For over 20 years, Pine Hill Trailer has served the needs of haulers through custom and stock trailer designs. We started with a special focus on the shed hauling industry, but have grown to provide trailer and truck bed solutions for many different industries and consumers. Our Metal Fabricator will…
- Operate a variety of equipment (Automatic band saw, shear, ironworker, etc) to create parts from a blueprint
- Perform set up of machines (loading and unloading, emptying of scrap material, organization of area)
- Use basic math, measurement, and computer skills to ensure that parts are made to specification
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment
- Communicate when equipment requires repair or service
- Perform safety and quality checks
- Operate a forklift
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- Work 40-50 hours depending on the work load. The majority of those hours would be from Monday – Friday between 6:00 am and 5:00 pm
Our Ideal Metal Fabricator…
- Experienced: Must have High School Diploma or GED and at least 2 years previous experience in metal fabrication. Basic knowledge of hand tool use is preferred.
- Flexible: Willing to be productive in when demands shift and priority of tasks change.
- Systematic: Able to follow written instructions, drawings, and maintain proper safety protocols to ensure high-quality work. Consistent when performing repetitive actions and tasks.
- Detail-Oriented: Read instructions, operate machines, and inspect parts produced with visual acuity. Maintain dexterity and stability in order to produce precise work.
- Persistent/Tenacious: Able to lift up to 50 pounds, stay on one’s feet for prolonged periods of time, and easily maneuver around facilities and machinery by walking, bending, stooping, climbing, and balancing.
- Team Player: Humble enough to admit mistakes. Drive to do a great job. Treats others with care and respect.
- Dependable: Comes to work on time. Steady approach to work. Desire to contribute as part of a team.
